About the Trainer
Husam Alkilany & Omar Alsaleh
Husam Alkilany: manager of environmental studies department at Royal Scientific society , holds an BSC and MSc degree in Water resources and Environmental Engineering. He obtained his BSc and MSc from Jordan University of Science and Technology in 1996 & 1999 respectively. He Joined RSS in 2003 ,he has participated in EU-funded projects such as MED TEST II project and UN funded projects such as applying Eco innovative strategies for chemical risk reduction in Jordanian industries. He is also a member of the Jordan engineer’s association and international community of practice for chemical management. Experienced in different environmental areas including green and circular economy, Environmental management system, environmental auditing, Environmental and social impact assessment, cleaner production and cleaner production tools, water, wastewater system. Also has experience in bio solid and grit & refusal management and handling through more than three years of work at Samra WWTP in addition to good experience in QHSE issues through participating in developing and implementing QHSE strategy for Samra plant
Omar Alsaleh: Eng Omar AlSaleh is a Certified Senior Circular Economy & Sustainability Specialist, currently working at the Royal Scientific Society (RSS), and is the Founder of Circular Economy Club (CEC) Amman. He is also an official ambassador at the Circular Economy Institute (CEI). His work is inspired by global trends and the circular nature of this globe. He holds both Bachelor of Science (BSc) & Master of Science (MSc) Degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nottingham, UK. Additionally, Omar is NEBOSH certified in Environmental Management and holds IEMA Sustainability certificate and IOSH Managing Safely certificate. Omar AlSaleh has excelled in his career as an enthusiastic and dedicated environmental Sustainability professional while occupying various positions in the Environmental Field. In addition to his experience, Omar AlSaleh is a current team member of the Jordan Cleaner Production Unit (CPU) and an active Associate Member of The Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment (AIEMA), United Kingdom. His main goal is to foster and enhance true circularity in Jordan and the region.
