  • Introduction to the components of the TRNSYS program.
  • The method of linking the components to each other.
  • Establishing a solar heating system.
  • Using the special component to build a pattern of water consumption during the day.
  • Simulation of solar energy systems to produce steam.
  • Calculating heating and air conditioning loads for buildings.
  • Monitoring and controlling simulation outputs and results.
  • Methods of controlling and storing output in an external file for viewing through Excel.

About the Trainer

Nidal Abdalla and Abdullah Abu Sada

The engineers, Nidal Abdalla and Abdullah Abu Sada, have long experience in air conditioning and heating systems and the use of the TRNSYS program in simulating renewable energy systems.

They also have experience using the SketchUp program necessary for thermal analysis of buildings through TRNSYS. Nidal has extensive experience in the field of solar thermal energy and solar energy technologies.
